With my new love of paper mache, I made a cactus! Maybe a wish for warmer weather? Again, another fun project and a nice way to get off the computer.

I have embraced my sculptural skills once more and made a deer head! It was a multi day project that I really enjoyed from start to finish. I am definitely going to be experimenting more with 3d projects!

I've been working on the computer a lot lately, and my eyes needed a break, so I whipped out the paintbrushes and had a lot of fun painting these little cupcakes! I used a palette knife to spread on the thicker paint, tapping into my inner Wayne Thiebaud.

Sneak Peek!

Here's a sneak peek of the latest children's book I'm working on: lots of textures and patterns involved in this one, which I'm loving! The finished illustrations to come in the next few weeks!

Sister Sister!

My sister, Alyssa Pry, and I recently started a new blog called What's My Age Again? She writes and I illustrate-- what a team! Check out the blog here:
                                                      http://whatsmyageblog.wordpress.com/

Posts are published every other day, so make sure you check it out a couple of days a week!

My patterns on the site Pattern Pod!

I was lucky enough to stumble upon this great pattern website called Pattern Pod (http://patternpod.com) and fell in love with their playful and colorful patterns. After contacting the founders, I was asked to do a couple of patterns for their site! My 2 patterns (shown below) are being featured on their home page for a few weeks, and I was also featured in their monthly trend letter! Very exciting! Check them out, and take a look at the great work on their site! Thanks so much to Pattern Pod founders Kristen Dettoni and Geraldine Blanchot for wanting to work with me!
