New Children's Book!

I'm working on a new children's book with the company MeeGenius-- this time it's set in the amazon jungle and about a Gingerbread Toucan! He meets a lot of animals along the way that want to gobble him up-- what will happen? You'll have to wait and see- this is just a sneak peek!

I took a couple of sketches that I did over the weekend and made them into full color illustrations. I had a lot of fun doing this-- it was really relaxing and I'm definitely planning on doing this more.

The cactus pattern I did for Pattern Pod a few months ago is on a mug! So cool! Thanks to Kristen Dettoni for sending me one. Check out pattern pod to be inspired by some really great patterns: patternpod.com

Patterns on Plates, Plates on Patterns

I'm preparing for a big sidewalk sale in the fall, trying to make as much as I can now, so I'm not scrambling the weekend before. Here's a little peek at some of the painted dish ware pieces I'm making-- more to come!

I was in the Catskills over the weekend and did some little sketches in my sketchbook-- a nice way to spend a summer weekend.

What's My Age Again?

Check out more posts from the blog my sister, Alyssa Pry, and I are working on! It will make the monotony of every day life go away!

Doodling in my sketchbook is definitely one of my favorite things to do! Happy Friday!

Days of Summah

This summer is flying by, and I realized I haven't really been keeping up with my blog! I've been surprisingly busy throughout these supposedly "lazy" days of summer, but there has been some time for fun! More salt dough creations and a trip to Storm King to name a few!

Looking out into the valley-- not a bad view!
