My friend and I share the love and joy that emoji's have brought to our texting lives. For her birthday, I made some shrink paper pins in the shape of the emoji's we seem to use most frequently. I've added them to my etsy shop, so if you like emoji's as much as we do, go to my shop and order some today! Follow the link: https://www.etsy.com/shop/rebeccaprystudio

This has been a really great month here for Rebecca Pry Illustration! This weekend I was in NYC and stopped by Fishs Eddy to see my new Gumball dishtowel. It looked so great, and it was very exciting to see it in the store-- I don't think that will ever get old! So, if you're ever in the city, go to Fishs Eddy on 19th and Broadway, or go to their website: http://www.fishseddy.com/kitchen-linens/linens/gumballs-dishtowel.html and order one today, to satiate the gum lover in all of us!
Me, stoically standing in the store holding up my design. The design on the table with the other dishtowel (it's making friends quite nicely!)
On the home page! It is a good reason to do dishes!

I am teaching myself how to do animations on photoshop, which is something I've always wanted to learn anyway! I have a bunch of ideas to do a series of short simple animations, and I'd love to share the first one I did! It's called "Rising Sun". Enjoy!

Not only does winter bring along skiing, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and hot chocolate, but this year it has brought me the joy of crocheting (while drinking hot chocolate!) I have been spending countless hours crocheting scarves, a pretty scarf, a long scarf, a circle scarf...ok, I still have a lot to learn, but it has been fun and quite addicting. One of the best things I made so far was this headband for my friend on her birthday.

I was lucky enough to get away for a week to go skiing at Steamboat Spring, CO. As it was snowing and icy and bitter here on the East Coast, Colorado was like springtime. Not as much snow as we had wanted, but it was still really nice! I have a wonderful goggle tan to prove it!
First night we arrived to a beautiful sunset!
That sky is just so blue!
Going through the chute!
Basking in the rays!
Last day provided us with 6" of fresh powder! Skiing through the trees!
The mountain from the base.
