House of Legends Threads

   I'm very excited to be a part of House of Legends Threads, who just launched their website this weekend! MMMM...DONUTS

 I've been really into donuts lately...they're just a fun thing to draw! So I did a cute little cut paper donut to add to my collection.

   Last night I went to a figure drawing session and it was so nice to be back doing it! (I didn't have to be dragged in kicking and screaming...how times have changed!) It was really relaxing after a day at work to just be drawing with people who enjoyed art as well, and I'm definitely going to go back. Here are a few of the  drawings I did.

Mother's Day

  Yesterday was Mother's Day! I hope everyone treated their mama's like ladies. I was very pleased with my wrapping job for my mom's present:

Cinco de Mayo!!

  Today is the best day of the year. It's Cinco de Mayo! And if I ever needed more reason to have Mexican food, today is the day to do it. Margaritas! Chips and salsa! Quesadillas! Burritos! Ok, ok, you get the point. Avocado man is back again, so remember what your avocados had to go through today for your bottomless chips and guac basket.
