Steamboat Springs, Colorado
I was lucky enough to get away for a week to go skiing at Steamboat Spring, CO. As it was snowing and icy and bitter here on the East Coast, Colorado was like springtime. Not as much snow as we had wanted, but it was still really nice! I have a wonderful goggle tan to prove it!
First night we arrived to a beautiful sunset!
That sky is just so blue!
Going through the chute!
Basking in the rays!
Last day provided us with 6" of fresh powder! Skiing through the trees!
The mountain from the base.

Super Bowl 49
As I'm sure most of America did last night, I watched the Super Bowl! And whatever team you were rooting for, I'm pretty sure that the dancing sharks during Katy Perry's Halftime show stole the whole night by a landslide. At least it did for me.

Little Music Man
I did this piece just for fun-- I recently started learning how to play the ukulele so I'm all about expressing myself through music :p

School Visit
I recently went to a 3rd grade class to talk about being an Illustrator. It was so much fun getting to show them my work and see how excited they were about it! (Especially my Fishs Eddy Dish towel!)
After the talk, we played my new favorite game, exquisite corpse, or more 3rd grade friendly named, Mystery Character. For those of you not familiar with the game, you fold a paper in 3, one person draws the head, pass it to the next person who draws the body, pass it to the 3rd person who draws the legs. When you open it up, you have a funny character with a head, body, and legs that don't match each other!
Here are some of my favorites!

I was also given some hand drawn pictures from the students which was so sweet! This was one of my favorites that I got:
